Tried my hardest

One of my favourite looks so far

As I got some new products I thought I would try them out. I thought the result were pretty good.

Eyebrows aren’t a new product : stuck with my Anastsia Beverly Hills

Moisturiser – Avon Anti Aging : sounds weird for a 21 year old to wear anti aging cream but I like to try anything and I had a lot of break out and this has actually cleared my skin up!

Primer : clinque Prep start moisturiser eyes and the same but for the face

Foundation : Rimmel 24 hour mixed with a bit of Rimmel True Match

Powder – Kryolan Eyeshadow (to brighten under my eyes) and then rimmel stay matte for the rest of my face
Want to know more?! Look under the next picture

Contour Powder – SmashBox

Lipstick – Mac Love Honey

Eyeshadow – Kryolan Eyeshadow palette, shades eggplant, mahogany, TU brown and highlight

Super creamy, super soft, easy to blend eyeshadows, a must try!

Mascara – Ted Baker & Miss Sporty – both black shades

Carving out my brows and covering dark circles : Benefit Cover me Up shade 2

Amazing, covers anything you need to hide

Highlight – highlight shade in the NYX contour and highlight palette

Setting Spray – NYX

These two photos are using the same products just different shades of eyeshadow and lipstick.

Work Make-Up….

We all love a good snapchat filter, they just make us look 100 x better!

Look at the second picture for the none filtered photo and more information….

This is a picture without any filter.

For work yes it looks like I am wearing a lot of makeup, but to me it’s not. It is literally moisturiser, primer, foundation, contour powder, highlighter, mascara and brows and a tiny bit of lip gloss.
So for this look I used :-

Brows NYX brow gel, mixed with clinque oil. I find this brow gel dried very quickly and adding the oil made it go on more smoothly. I also tried using Moroccan Oil and that worked a treat to!!

Primer Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. This keeps my foundation on all day, leaves my skin feeling silky smooth.

Moisturiser Sanctuary body lotion, this keeps my face feeling smooth and fresh.

Foundation Clinque Beyond and Perfecting Foundation. This is a full coverage foundation that you would think would be heavy on the skin but feels very light and works with all different products.

Powder No.7 Tanslucent Powder. This doesn’t change the colour of your foundation keeps it the colour you need it to be and works with other powders.

Mascara Miss Sporty & Ted Baker. I firstly use the Ted Baker to seperate my lashes and add a little length then use the Miss Sporty for the volume and thickness of my lashes. But making sure they still look natural

Concealer Anastasia Beverley Hills contour palette in the shade medium. This banana shade is peferct for when I need to clean and conceal the brow area and also the coral shade is perfect for my dark circles.

Contour Powder Benefit Hoola, this is perfect to add more colour to your face or to use as a contour powder. It is smooth and blends very easily and is so pigmented to!

Highlighter Mac lightscapade highlighter, this is a subtle but perfect highlight that you need in your life!

Lips Ted Baker lip blam, comes in sets of 3, keeps my lips hydrated and feeling smooth

Just a look…

These other two photos are a mixture of the same products! I keep trying to use new and old products I have. Some that are unbranded, highend or drugstore.

L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation

I thought I had to try this foundation, just because of Jamie Genevieve did a video about it!

I think for the price it’s such a good foundation. The cover is a full coverage and you are able to build it up too, which is also a bonus.

The formula is really strange to me. I thought it would be a liquid, like a runny liquid?! But this is very thick, almost like a moose type of foundation. So I wouldn’t advice putting it on the back of your hand then using your beauty blender to put it on with, I would reccomended putting bits on your face then blending it out, that’s what worked better for me!

It’s definitely worth the buy for £9.99 from boots!

Favourite Make-Up Look … atm

At the moment I am loving this basic look,

foundation (clinque beyond and perfecting, Mac, Benefit or Maybeliene)

contouring (either Mac or smashbox or NYX)

highlight (elf, smashbox or NYX)

Mascara (miss sporty)

Eyebrows (dip brow pomade Anastasia)

Lipstick (Mac or vasiline)

Setting powder (mac, Kiko or rimmel)

Primer (Mac or smashbox)

These are all affordable make up items you could use to create a basic, nice look that will last all day! This is what I wear for work and I can do 13 hour shifts or 8 hour shifts and my makeup will stay on all day! Even if I mix the different products up!

Ever Thought About Trying Gin?!

Whenever I ask people about trying Gin, they always say they don’t like tonic! But you don’t just have it with tonic. Even though it does taste good when you squeeze lemon juice into it, or have cucumbers in there. But there are so many drinks you can mix it with.

1. One of the best in my eyes. Bitter Lemon or San Pellegrino(lemon), obviously with ice! This tastes very refreshing, you can taste the slight hint of gin but nothing over powering… well depends how much gin you put in but if you do a double measure around 50ml it’s perfect!

2. Pomegranate Tonic Water, this adds a difference to the normal G&T. It creates all different flavours in your mouth, nothing harsh and much different to a normal Tonic taste.

3. Infused Gin’s, cranberry infused. You could add extra cranberry juice or mix with lemonade or Tonic and it’s almost a cocktail!

4. Lemonade, if you like a sweeter, drink this is the one! Very refreshing, almost like bitter lemon but doesn’t have a very strong lemon flavour.

5. Gin, Tonic and different fruits. This could be watermelon, melon, oranges etc. This adds and creates a more vibrant and flavoursome drink. Mixing the fruits together is also good to try! You can use lemonade to!

What Gins?!

HendricksGordansBombaySaphireEdenMillTanqurayGreenallsBrockmansBeefeater and so many more!! There are hundreds of gins out in the world! I would love to taste them all! Each gin has a different type of flavour. If you get the small almost tester bottles as I call them, pour them in to separate glasses with the mixer you want and taste, you will be able to notice and taste the difference in flavour! It’s crazy!

Just remember Gin is amazing!
